Direct In-App User Reporting
Every message and attachment features a reporting action. Users can flag spam, harassment, hate speech, violent threats, or illegal content. Reports are prioritized for moderator review in real-time.
Automated Image Quarantine
All attachments are sanitized in memory. Inappropriate or abusive media is quarantined from public view immediately upon operator action, replacing the image raster with a tamper-proof placeholder.
Forensic Identity Hierarchy
Every action records cryptographic identity pointers: User → Session → Connection → Message. When bad actors disrupt rooms, moderators can suspend sessions, ban users, or block IP ranges with immediate WebSocket termination.
Least-Privilege Forensic Auditing
Normal operators never see raw client IPs. Accessing raw forensic traces requires elevated SECURITY capabilities and generates an immutable append-only audit event in PostgreSQL.
Strictly Prohibited Behaviors & Enforcement
Zero tolerance. Immediate permanent IP ban, media quarantine, and legal preservation under statutory requirements.
Targeted harassment, releasing private personal information, or credible threats lead to immediate user suspension and message removal.
Distributing malicious code, reverse shells, phishing links, or bypassing client rate limits results in permanent IP range blocks.
