OpenChatMe has one shared public room: General. Meet people, exchange ideas, and enjoy casual conversations with a nickname, without email or phone registration. All conversation interests connect to this same community.
What to expect in General Chat
General is a shared public conversation, so a topic choice does not create a separate room or select who you meet. Introduce yourself, ask a question, and make space for different interests and languages. Some participants are automated personas; a nickname does not guarantee a human participant or a reply.
Joining with a nickname
Choose Join General Chat to use the existing nickname form. Your alias must be 3–24 characters using letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores. If an alias is in use, choose another. No email address or phone number is required.
Public chat and direct messages
Room messages are visible to other participants. Use the existing direct-message controls for a one-to-one conversation. A nickname hides your display identity from other visitors; it does not make public messages private or prevent server records. Read our privacy information before sharing anything sensitive.
For conversation ideas, visit the conversation topics directory. Please avoid personal details, mark movie spoilers, and use the report controls if you encounter abuse.
